Rx2BFIT Reviews — Requesting a Written Quote

What should a written quote for a proposed program include?

Name the exact services

Ask the office to list the service or services being proposed, the assessment or consultation included, any tests, medicines, products, visits, and monitoring. The quote should distinguish required elements from optional add-ons. If the clinical plan has not been finalized, a preliminary estimate should say what might change and when a final amount will be available. Avoid comparing generic menu prices with a tailored plan without knowing what each includes.

Request the number and timing of expected appointments, who provides them, and whether there are additional charges for changes in the plan. Ask how charges are handled if a test or consultation shows that the proposed service is not appropriate. The site describes individualized planning, so the final description should match your actual recommendation, not just a category label.

Clarify payment and changes

Ask when payment is due, what cancellation or rescheduling rules apply, whether unused visits can be refunded, and whether there is any recurring charge. If a third-party payment arrangement is offered, read its own terms separately. Do not assume a public promotion or another patient’s invoice governs your visit; obtain current written terms from the office.

Keep the quote with the clinical explanation and compare both before committing. A low price is not enough if it omits needed monitoring; a comprehensive price is hard to judge if its components are vague. If the quote changes after assessment, ask what new information caused the change and whether you can reconsider without penalty.

If you are given several versions of a quote, date each one and ask which version controls. Keep the clinical plan beside it so a later line-item change can be understood rather than accepted as an unexplained total.
